Every tool on this page runs inside the browser tab you are reading. Your PDF is opened locally, changed locally and saved locally — it is never uploaded, never queued on someone else’s server and never stored. Once the page has loaded you can disconnect from the network entirely and the tools still work.

That matters more for PDFs than for most file types, because of what people actually put in them: contracts, payslips, bank statements, medical letters, passport scans and signed agreements. With an upload-based converter, what happens to that file after it leaves your machine is a policy question you have to take on trust. Here there is nothing to trust, because nothing is sent.
