A moral story has a structure that has survived a few thousand years for a reason: a situation, a choice, a consequence, and then the lesson stated plainly. The lesson goes last and it goes on its own card. Putting it earlier turns the story into an illustration of a point the viewer has already been given.

YAQUIZO’s card structure maps onto this directly. Each beat is a statement card, the label can carry “The lesson” on the final one, and the footnote can hold the source if the fable is a known one.

These work particularly well as a series. Aesop, the Panchatantra and Jataka tales are all public domain and all built in exactly this shape.

Tips that actually help

Frequently asked questions

How long should a moral story video be? +

Three to five cards, 30 to 45 seconds total. The classic fables are short precisely because the form does not survive padding.

Can I make these for children? +

Yes — the Kids and Cartoon templates use rounded type and high-contrast colour, and nothing is uploaded, so classroom use raises no data questions.

Can I add illustrations? +

Yes. Any card can carry an image, and the layout moves the text down to make room for it automatically.
