Maths questions are short, which changes how you should build the video. A question like “What is 17 × 6?” occupies almost no screen space, so the countdown does the work — and a two-second timer that most viewers can beat is more engaging than a five-second one that leaves dead air.

Fill in the blank suits arithmetic better than multiple choice, because offering four numeric options either makes the answer obvious or turns it into a process-of-elimination exercise. YAQUIZO marks blanks with three underscores anywhere in the question, and substitutes the real answer at the reveal.

For worksheets, the PDF export gives you the same questions at print resolution, one per page.

Tips that actually help

Frequently asked questions

How do fill-in-the-blank questions work? +

Put three or more underscores (___) anywhere in your question to mark a blank. YAQUIZO shows the blank during the countdown and substitutes your answer at the reveal. You can add an optional word bank of tiles to choose from.

Can I use mathematical symbols? +

Yes — any Unicode character your chosen font supports will render, including ×, ÷, π, √ and superscripts.

Can I make printable worksheets? +

Yes. Switch the project to image mode and export as PDF for one question per page, or as PNG at the A4 Print preset for individual sheets.
